Risk assessment

Risk assessment - Things to consider when filming.
Whilst filming accidents could happen, for example falling over or technical things could happen for example the camera could break or be damaged.  If an accident were to happen with someone we would carry out all suitable safety precautions to make sure the person is okay and well again. If the camera were damaged we understand that we would have to pay for any necessary repairs.
One of the scenes we are filming take place in a wooded area so understandably its easier for people to hurt themselves by falling over or doing things such as walking into trees. Due to unsuitable clothes in the party scenes it may also be easier for people to fall over. We are also using masks in two of our scenes, so it will easier for them to fall over or walk into objects.

Location Shots

For our music video, we wanted to use 3 locations, for our 3 different scenes.

Our first scene is of our Beatles, singing in a 'forest'. For this scene we decided to use 'Bentley Woods' as our location. We felt that this location had a mystical feel to it, which is in fitting with the theme of the video and song. It it also easy for both the characters and ourselves to get to.

For our party scene we have had to ask permission to use our friends birthday venue, which was cherhil village hall. We feel that this venue is perfect for our party scene due to the size, which means we can film a large amount of people at any one time.

Our final scene is of out Lucy character walking down the street. At this point in the music video we are trying to represent her dreaming. We wanted to use this street (white horse way) as it was again easy for both us to film and for our characters to get to. It was also a faily quite street, which meant we would not be interupted by cars and passers by. We also felt that the quietness of the street, and the feild that was next to the path we want to use could help to us to again create a mystical feel.
